Our musical theater program provides a positive, uplifting, and encouraging environment where students develop skills in acting, singing, and dance while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

Our Musicals Program is designed for students ready to step into a larger production experience. Operating in a structured rehearsal environment, students will hone their skills in acting, singing, dancing, teamwork, and stage presence. The program culminates in a full-scale, 75-minute musical production.

Program Highlights

Ages: 6–15
Schedule: Classes meet twice a week on Mondays and Saturdays.
Experience Level: Ideal for students with prior performance experience.
Commitment: Requires a higher level of rehearsal and attendance commitment.

Prerequisites & Recommendations

Highly Recommended: Participation in our Medleys Program for at least one semester before joining Musicals. This helps students build foundational stage skills and confidence.

Enrollment Caps & Age Policy

Important Age Policy: Students must meet the age requirement prior to audition day. No exceptions can be made. Registration is first-come, first-served; spots cannot be held.

Ages 6–9: Limited to 24 students
Ages 10+: Limited to 52 students

Class Schedule

Mondays (at Creative Sparks Dance Studio)

Ages 6–9: 4:00–6:00 PM (Note: adjusted from 5–9 to match enrollment caps)
Ages 10+: 5:00–7:00 PM

Saturdays (Lead Rehearsals)

Time: 2:00–5:00 PM
As needed and subject to change. Specific schedules will be announced at least one month in advance.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition covers show rights, scripts, music, costumes, props, sets, and production expenses.

Monthly Tuition (By Family)

1st Child: $70 / month
2nd Child: $60 / month
3rd Child: $50 / month

Musicals Program

Medley's Program

Our Medleys Program is the perfect introduction to musical theatre for young performers. Classes meet on Wednesdays and focus on building confidence, creativity, and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment. Students work toward a smaller production with a performance approximately 30 minutes in length.

Medleys is an excellent starting point for students who are new to theatre and serves as a great foundation for those interested in joining our Musicals Program in the future.

Studio Policies & Expectations

Footwear & Studio Rules

Shoes: Black jazz shoes are required for all rehearsals and performances. No street shoes are allowed on the studio floor.
Food & Drink: Water bottles are permitted in the studio, but food is strictly prohibited.
Closed Rehearsals: To minimize distractions, rehearsals are closed to parents and visitors unless special arrangements have been made in advance.

Absence Policy

General Absences: Please notify us of any known conflicts as soon as possible. Per the audition contract, excessive unexcused absences may result in a student losing their role.
Mandatory Dates: All dress rehearsals and performances are strictly mandatory. Because theater is a team effort and every student plays an essential role, attendance at these events is required to participate in the show.
